You will do foolish things, but do them with enthusiasm. ~ColetteThe month of April has blown in with sunshine, some icy winds, and a myriad of April Fool's Day follies!! The thrill of the end of winter is upon us and many seem to have some extra energy to unleash upon the gullible. So, in light of all that, what is the best April Fool you've ever experienced--either a joke you've pulled or one you've fallen for? Did you see any good ones this year? How do you feel about practical jokes in general? Does it make a difference if you are the joker or the one getting duped? What do you think?
One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I said. "Disneyland burned down." He cried and cried, but I think that deep down, he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late. ~Jack Handey

I hate to be the one that the joke is being played on. I much rather pull a prank on someone else. I really didn't have any good pranks this year and no one pulled any on me. My chemistry teacher did say we had a test and got a few people worried, but that was pretty much it. The one i remember the most is last year one of my friends had the principals call her mom and tell her she was in a fight and was getting suspended. Her mom was so raged that she took off work to come pick my friend up and ya it was really funny!
I have never been really a prankster but if you ask some of my friends I can come up with some good ones, but I never will use them. The best prank that I have seen was off AFV. Some guys put suran wrap over a dark hall way. And started to yet that some thing was wrong. and the guy in the back room sleeping ran out an ran in to the wall of wrap and was thrown to the ground. lol. I personally don't like pranks thats why I don't do them, because I don't want to be pranked.
Well honestly i have never pulled a practical joke or had one done to me. I dont really care to deal with them or like them i kinkda find them pointless but that is just my opinion.
I did see some good jokes this year, however, none were played on me. But I think it's better to be the one doing the joke because then you can savor the joy and laughter of the shannaigans.
Actually, i can't ever remember any great jokes that i or someone else has ever played on me. i don't think that set up jokes are the thing for me, it's not as funny as just letting whatever happen happen. thgings are always more exciting when they are unsxpected, by everyone. i think that the fact that something is unexpected make it that much funnier. i don't think it matters whether i am the joker or the one being joked, because if something is funny and it makes me laugh, then it's all worth it. :)
My girlfriend's house has been broken into four times and three of those being in the past two weeks. Nothing was stolen, but on April first she came in and told me her prom dress had been stolen. I had been fooled.
well one April Fools i told my boyfriend i was engaged to another guy. the horror on his face was fascinating. it took everything i had not to giggle. but he looked so hurt that the joke didn't last 5 minutes and i told him it was an april fools joke. this year i didn't really see many jokes and the ones i did see were pretty lame in my opinion. it does makes a difference if ur the joker or not because depending if ur in on the joke or on the receiving end of the joke depends on how u take it and the events that follow. personally i dislike april fools day because to me it seems like a ridiculous thing to do to people. Have a wonderful day!!
I think pratical jokes are great i love to joke but i didn't get in joke played on me this year i did the joking!

it was along time ago when me and my sister still lived at home. we put a black rubber band around the hose in the kitchen sink. so when my mom turned on the water it went all over her. i didnt really do or hear any good jokes. although i did make my mom cry when i told her an april fools joke. i felt kinda bad. i love when people tell me jokes because im so gulable that i dont realize there jokes.
ilovechels
Mr kembell after the fire alarm played a prank saying we get the rest of the week off cuz an eletrical problem that will take two days to fix. But he said it was a joke and I had gotten all excited for nothing!!
Nobody ever really does anything for April Fool's day so its just another day. i like jokes theyre funny and i like getting jokes played on me cause im not boring.peace
This April Fool's Day was lame! No one really planned anything exciting or awesome. I like to be the pranker, not the pranked. It's like watching PUNKED! I hate that Ashton Kutcher always get to be the Pranker. I wish I could make my own TV show like that and prank Ashton Kutcher all day long! That'd be sah-weet! I think next year I will start planning for April Fool's Day a whole week before and go all out! Don't worry it won't be played on you mrs snow.

WOW WOW WOW give me the address of the guy who did that to that poor little kid!!!! I want to find him and kick him square in the.........head!!! That kid is going to have such horrible psychological damage. The worst part is that its not even his kid....his brother's/sister's kid is the one getting messed up. In the future this kid's kids are going to want to go there and he'll be like "NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" p.s. All American Rejects are Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i couldnt care either way pulling pranks are fun but if someone pulls a better one on me i dont mind

I think that my best April Fool was about 6 yrs ago. I told my uncle to let me borrow 50 dollars. Then there is this song in spanish that sais poor inocet children you let your self get fooled today for being Aprils fool days nothing you should let borrow so i never gave them back. NO i did not see any good ones this year. I think some jokes are really funny athers just ok.

Welll the best one i experienced was when i lived in hville in 8th grade i got into trouble for shootin fireworks in the city limits when it was march haha. well my parents typed up a letter an put it in the mail box like it was a juvenial referral.
I love jokes. Just not when they are on me. As a great man(marshall howden) would say, "I dont fall for jokes". I didnt really do any this year. I kinda forgot aboutm it for the most part. well i guess im done now. I have done like 5 blogs at once.

My April Fool's Day was very uneventful. it was the most boring April Fool's Day EVER!!
I put eggs in my moms shoes once for aprils fools. She didnt take too kindly to that. but i thought that it was pretty good.
deadhead
one time my friend blew her nose and afterwards i told her she had snot all over her face and she freaked out and then i said "april fools!" and we laughed. lol. but i don't like being the person the joke gets played on. and i don't play jokes on other people that much. this past april fools day no one played a joke on me and i didn't play one on anyone either. that's the way it should be. no practical jokes...unless they're really funny and not harmful. i love nick jonas!

I love watching other people play jokes as long as its not to me. I dont't get into April Fool's Day. Its just another day for me. This guy did tell me he would be in Oklahoma for 2 months this summer...I got excited, but then he said April Fools. :(
*Lara May*
My brother and his girlfriend played a really good april fools joke on me. I completely forgot it was april fools day and they called me and told me that i was going to be an aunt!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WAS SOOOOOOO EXCITED! So I called my sister and i couldnt even talk cause i was so happy and she told me it was an april fools joke. Then i got really sad. Some jokes can be really funny. I love playing some pranks on people. Just not when they get out of hand!
Oh my god! I absolutely LOOVEEE April Fool's Day!! I'm quite mischievous. Joking around is definitely my thing. I remember one time when I was on a bus on my way to school, I pretended to be sad. This girl asked what was wrong and I told her my mom got breast cancer! She totally believed me! I know, I'm such a good actress. This year I saw ONE good one. When we were doing a drill during soccer practice, Emily and Kate bumped into each other then they fell down. Kate didn't move at all and Emily was grabbing on to her foot pretending to cry. Coach B ran over to them and almost called 911. It was rather funny.

I had one person try to trick me this year. my mom called me early in the morning and said her car had run out of gas and that she needed me to bring her some, i was headed for the door when she called back and said april fools. I dont think pranks are a bad thing at all, usually if they are good they actually lighten everyones mood whether youre the one doing the prank or the one being pranked.
CONDOR
I think the best April Fools joke i've ever witnessed was a couple years ago my sister told our mom that she was pregnant. My mom totally believed her and when she found out it wasn't true she was so angry that she fell for it.
I love jokes and playing around. If you don't have a good sense of humor life will be very dull and boring.
--Brainyblonde92
Well, I am usually the one that gets the prank or joke pulled on. The only reason I am the one is because I am the most gallable(if that's how you spell it) one in my family, and they say that it is because I am a blonde...but whatever! Im not going to lie, I dont think I have ever said a good joke and I dont remember what good joke was played on me.
when i was going to school at kirbyville the administration took all the tables and put them in the hallways a left them there all day and we had to eat lunch in the halls. i didnt see any good ones this year.it does make a difference if i am the joker because then it is way more funny.
the best april fools joke ive ever pulled was one year my mom and brothers and i took my dads car and parked it around the block and then smashed a bottle where it was. then we told him "Dad! your car is missing!!!!!" to which he replied, "heavens no!" and ran outside to see the broken glass. it was quite humorous.

i love pulling pranks and jokes on people. i do it all the time. i love seeing the reaction while the prank is happening and after when they just realized they have been pranked. the looks on peoples faces are priceless. i dont get pranked that much...if i do i get them back 10 times worse. that could be the reason i dont get pranked, beacuse people know i will get them back worse.
*jojofosho*
I LOVE playing jokes on people and I dont really like jokes being played on me but I wont be furious if a joke is played on me. This year I didnt have any jokes I guess I wasnt in the joking mood...a lot of stress. But i htink pratical jokes are fun ane they make life funny and interesting...when not taken out of conrol.
I myself have never really been the one for practicle jokes. I don't mind them but with me I just about have them played on me every day. I'm told it is because it is so easy to pull them on me. I really can't remember any April Fool's jokes that have been pulled on me. I didn't have any pulled on me this year. To me it doesn't matter if I'm the joker or the one getting duped. To me it's just all fun and games.
Hayle Holzkamper
one of the ones i pulled was on my parents, i set there clocks 2 hours ahead lol and i heared about it wene i got home from school that day. but it was hilarious overall. only one i had pulled on me this year was from my chemistryI teacher, she pretended to move our test up a day and played it all the way up to having us put our stuff away and get a pencil out, lol it was vary convincing. practical jokes are just a good stress reliever, people are tired and bored of school, and pulling a prank just makes things seem to go easier, but some people take there jokes too far. personally i hate being the center of a joke, i like to be the less noticed one of everyone.
April fools is a day when people can play jokes on others. It's a fun day but at the same time I don't like it because I believe everything. Then the one being played feels silly mostly when everyone is in on playing the joke.
LOVE
Hmm I have never really recieved or given a really good April Fools joke. My sister told my mom she was prego but thats a very common one. I think a joke is a joke. I hate when people like freak out and get in a bad mood over it. It just shows how immature and uptight they are. I think as long as its not making fun of or hurting someone it's all fun and games.
I don't think anyone has ever played a really big April Fool's Day joke on me. I saw a couple good ones, but I would probably never try them. I love jokes! I love joking around with my friends and being able to have a good time. I'm not to fond of serious people. I'm a jokster kid! It depends on what the joke is to tell whether I would want to be the jokster or the duped. lol..if it's a good one I wanna be involved!!
[(t-ra)]
Well I have not seen any good April fools jokes this year. But I did a couple years ago. Also I think that a practical jokes are good cuz it can make someones day better or worse. But mostly better. I like April Fools day.
lvsk8er91
I think the best prank I pulled was a couple years ago. I knew my sister had "dish duty" to do so I tied a little clear rubber band around the spray nossle and I lined it up pointing directly where it would squirt her whenever she turned the water on... the morning of April 1 my sister was getting ready to do dishes and when she turned on the water, BAM! right on her! It was amazing lol
ive never really had a april fool's joke played on me so therefore i have never fallen for one. i think practical jokes can be funny but most of the time they are just annoying and a waste of time. of course it makes a difference no one likes to have a joke played on them.
tomtom
I think that jokes are necessary to get through the day, but should not played by the expense of someone else. I mean, you shoudln't cause anyone any pain with the joke that you make. It's just not nice.
-texas2010
Well I have never experienced an amazing April fool's joke or every pulled one. The ones I usually do are little lame ones that only a stupid person would fall for. I think that every once in awhile pratical jokes are good, they keep a light mood. It is always better to be the person pulling the joke, but afterwards the one getting dumbed gets a good laugh too.
I'm not usually good at making april fools jokes....but sometimes. I fell for a few.
i don't like people to play jokes on me because i fall for them too easily but i like to play kes on others. this april's fool was a good one for me because didn't get duped but i got to see some other people do jokes on others and it was really funny.
My sister put pickle juice in my coke once but I didnt even notice so it was pretty lame. No i havent experienced any great april fools jokes.
I hate April Fools Lucas was a jerk and broke up with me as a joke.. It was very mean.. I did put ceran wrap on my parents toilet, but they didn't fall for it. So, overall it was a terrible April Fools!
Well the funniest one I've ever seen was when one of my friends wrapped the toilet seat up with clear plastic wrap and when he went to pee early in the morning it went EVERYWHERE!!!!! And he was freaking out because he didn't know what was going on and started yelling like a girl and jumping up and down thinking itvwould somehow help. Then it was also funny because he had to clean it all up. I like playing some jokes as long as it doesnt hurt anyone but I don't like it when someone does something to me...
............nikeboy..........
This years April fools was'nt as exciting for me. No one really played any jokes on me. One of my friends got fooled by an April fools joke. Me and her and our two boyfriends were eating at steak in shake and we were just hanging out when Lucas, my friends boyfriend acted like he was really really mad at her because of something she had said. He wouldnt talk to her the rest of the meal. When they were leaving he told her that he didnt know if their relationship was working and wanted to go on a break. She was upset at first and just said ok. Then when he told her, April fools, She got soooo mad. She freaked out on him and told him that was an uncalled for April fools joke. She didnt talk to him for about an hour after that and then got over it. I thought that was a pretty funny joke, but I wasnt the one getting the joke played on or Im sure my views would have been different. haha but it was funny!

I am not really into the practical joke thing for April fools day. I don't get pranks aimed towards me and I don't come up with any because I would rather spend my time thinking of something else or doing something else a little more productive.
striker
i have done foolish things lol and done them as a joke and ended up getting in trouble or costing me money but i feel like i learned from them and now im a better person from it
Hmm, it can go either way for me. its always a blast pulling a prank on one of your friends. But when your the one doing the pranking you have to be careful not to push things to far. Have fun but be considerate at the same time :)
The only april fools joke ive ever played was putting a hair tie aroung the sprayer on the sink and my mom sprays herslef. thats all

I love to pull pranks on people some good ones to try is peeing on a dish, putting it in the freezer then after its frozen pull it out and put in on your best friends bed and wait for him to get home then it will be thawed out just in time for him to go to sleep on. Pranks are very good for people because it brings laughter out.
i havent had any good practical jokes pulled on me, and my practical jokes are really mean... the only one i can think of is telling my dad that i got a girl preginate. that wasnt funny, and he didnt laugh hahahahahahaha
the best april fools joke i played was last year on my sister krystal, she was so freaked out that i still havnt lived it down. well i was going to take her to texas to go see the rest of are family and i took the long back way well ass we are about half way i stopped at a gas station and filled a gascan up while she was asleep and told her that i filled the car up instead, we started to go and about thirty miles in the middle of nowere(no gas station for miles) nothing but a long stretch of road and dirt. my sister flipped out and i almost lost my life that day she was so pissed but in the end it was all worth it.
