- I grew up in a little town in Southwest Missouri and have wanted to be a teacher nearly all of my life. Every grade I went through, I would imagine creative ways to teach each subject. After high school, I went through the Honor's Program at MSSU, where I met my husband, Eddie, on my very first day of classes. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English and Theatre and recently took a year off teaching to attend MSU where I earned my Master's Degree. Eddie teaches history at Nixa Jr. High and coaches 7th grade football and I stayed at home with our three children for ten wonderful years. Tucker, 12, Savannah, 8, and Emma, 5, are the light of my life--we love movies, pools, and just hanging out together. I'm excited to be returning to BHS this year where I will have all sophomore classes. As I love to read all kinds of things and have spent many happy hours lost in books, it is my goal to pique the imagination of my students in a subject in which they have shown little interest. We will be learning a lot in a great variety of ways, so I ask you all to join me on this journey and try some new things as we go to see if you can find out where your own passions lie.

This Thanksgiving I am happy for my family and friends. Events this past year in my life have really shown me the true people in my life. Without anyone of them, I'd be nothing. I thank God everyday for them. I hope they realize how much they mean to me. I don't know what I would be without them.

This Thanksgiving break I am thankful for family and friends all coming together and enjoying each others company. It's a time when we can all join together under one roof for something we all like to do...EAT! It's just a warm inviting atmosphere that only comes once a year. well im thankful for my family. i realzied how thankful i am for them because we spent thanksgiving in the hospital but it was awesome for all of us to be there eating together and it didnt matter where we were at least we were all together. Thats what im thankful for.

On this thanksgiving break other than the many others I am truely thankful for my religion, family, and talent. It has taken me 16 years of my life to realize that I am very blessed. I just love my family with all my heart and am glad that I still have them. I also love that I am worshipping the lord our savior and all the blessings he has given me. Thats what im thankful for this thanksgiving.

Spending my Thanksgiving with my boyfriend's family. Enjoying their company and how sweet they are just made it a wonderful break. I also helped with the Food Harvest. Just giving food and helping people out that can't afford it was heart warming.
I'm thankful for beign able to have food for thanks giving and for family and friends to join us.

There are too many things to list really, i know theres a lot of things in my life i really take for granted and dont even realize also. One thing i feel vvery lucky to have is a family that i know cares so much about me. I know my parents and sister will always be there for me when i need them. Im thankful for my friends in the same regard. Im also glad to be in a band and be musically inclined, it keeps me busy and its something i knw ill enjoy for the rest of my life. there are many other things but the list is too long.

I am thankful for many things. One is life in general. Some people don't always have another day and i think we should always be thankful for each new day God gives us. I'm also thankful for my parents. They have always been there for me with unconditional love.

I was thankful for the 3 people that brought me and my sister food at work because of ending up having to stay home and not going to Nebraska with the rest of my family because of the last minute our manager telling us we had to work. Also, it was really nice to have an actual thanksgiving meal when my parents got home on Sunday.
